It's almost time again for AWANA to begin! AWANA is a discipleship program for kids that focuses on Bible memory. The first club night for the 2019-2020 school year is August 21. Register is now open using the form below. If you have any questions, see Jim Cross or contact the church at email@example.com.
What to Bring to AWANA
Your child will receive 1 AWANA buck each week for the following:
--Attending club in uniform and tennis shoes
--Dues (You have two choices on dues this year-- either $30 up front for the year, or $1/week. Your child will receive one AWANA buck each week for either having paid for the year or for bringing $1. The dues cover the cost of one book for the year and the uniform for those who need one. AWANA Games and Sparks-a-Rama costs and Grand Prix costs are not included, but we will do our best to keep the costs low.)
--Bringing their Bible
--Bringing their handbook
--Bringing a friend
How to Help Your Child
--Please have your child wear sneakers or other shoes that you can run in, preferably with a light colored sole
--Come prepared. Coming to club with the work completed and the verses memorized helps you make sure your child completes the book. Additional awards are available for extra credit sections and for book review. AWANA Quiz Bowl is available for children who advance quickly in the handbooks.
--Stay aware of the special contests and theme nights on the calendar.
